IIG 29th Convocation Ceremony Celebrating Excellence in Gems & Jewellery Education

The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) hosted its highly anticipated 29th Convocation Ceremony on the 30th of June 2023 at the prestigious Sahara Star in Mumbai. This momentous occasion marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication for the graduating students, as they were honored for their outstanding achievements in the field of Gems & Jewellery.

The grand event was attended by esteemed industry leaders, notable guests, and the entire IIG team, creating an atmosphere filled with anticipation and celebration. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr. Nilesh Chhabria, the esteemed COO of Finestar Diamonds, who graced the occasion with his presence and delivered an inspiring address to the graduates.

The event commenced with an impactful opening note delivered by Mr. Rahul Desai, his opening note set the tone for the inspiring IIG Convocation Ceremony, captivating the audience and instilling a sense of pride and motivation among the graduating students. Adding to the significance of the ceremony, Dr. Rajendra Jain, the Managing Director of SVAR Group, and the Trophy Partner for the Convocation Ceremony through his company SVAR Gems was present at the event as the special guest added an extra touch of prestige to the occasion. Mr. Lalit Jain of Chandan Agencies was a Library partner and Mr. Rajesh Bajaj of Heera Zhaveraat were present at the event.

During the convocation, a total of 114 students were felicitated with certificates, symbolizing their successful completion of various programs offered by IIG. Additionally, seven special trophies were awarded to exceptional students who demonstrated exceptional skills, talent, and dedication in their respective fields of study.
