At Hari Krishna Exports, one of the world’s premier diamond manufacturing units, students witnessed the intricate processes that transform rough diamonds into the brilliant gemstones that adorn jewelry worldwide. The visit offered an exclusive glimpse into India’s leading role in the global diamond industry, showcasing the sophisticated techniques used in cutting and polishing diamonds. Students had the unique opportunity to observe the entire journey of a diamond, from its rough state to a polished masterpiece. Adding to the significance of the visit, students had the honor of interacting with Padmashri. Savji Dholakia, the founder of Hari Krishna Exports. In a special session, Mr. Dholakia shared candid business lessons that left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them with his journey and success in the diamond industry.
The visit to Greenlab Diamonds, a pioneer in lab-grown diamond manufacturing, introduced students to the cutting-edge technologies driving this rapidly growing sector. Here, they explored the innovative processes involved in creating lab-grown diamonds, gaining a deep understanding of the science and technology that set this industry apart. Mr. Smit Patel – Partner himself spend an hour with students to guide and motivate them. The visit highlighted the exciting opportunities that lie within the lab-grown diamond sector, emphasizing the importance of research and practical skills in pursuing a successful career in this growing field. At the Golden Carat jewelry manufacturing unit, students explored the world of jewelry creation. They explored every stage of the process, from design and casting to setting and finishing. This visit provided a comprehensive overview of the craftsmanship and techniques essential for producing high-quality jewelry, offering students a hands-on experience that complemented their classroom learning. The exposure to real-world practices in jewelry manufacturing enriched their understanding of the meticulous attention to detail and artistry required to excel in this domain.
