The IIJS Premiere Show 2023 is the 2nd largest show in the world. This prestigious show was inaugurated at dual venues – JIO World Convention Centre (JWCC, Bandra) and Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC, Goregaon). It had a display of 1850 exhibitors and 3250 booths.
The JWCC venue showcased loose diamonds and lab grown diamonds with studded jewellery in gold and CZ also. The BEC venue had booths of diamonds, gemstones, gold jewellery, gold CZ jewellery, silver jewellery, artifacts gifting items, Machinery, Technology and various Allied Components.
Green initiative of planting trees was continued in the show also. Hope Charity dinner was organised to network in the evening. & thought provoking discussions like Innov8 Talks were organised.
IIG (rebranded & formerly known as SRDC) is a premier education institute for the Gems & Jewellery Industry since 1965. We participated in the dual venues to network, collaborate & encourage visitors to enrol in our Programs.
At the JIO venue we participated from 3rd August to 7th August. To attract visitors to our booth we had displayed trophies won by our students in jewellery designing, diamond kits & books, gemstones & books with our programs.
We had planned a Gemstone quiz for the visitors. Visitors enthusiastically participated in the gemstone quiz and won gifts and vouchers for our programs.
IIG CEO & MD Mr Rahul Desai held a seminar in the Innov8 talks on WHAT LIES BEYOND THE 4 C’s with IIG’s knowledge partner VENUS JEWELS. He got a tremendous response from the audience & interacted with them on this topic. Young budding entrepreneurs attended the Innov8 Talks with enthusiasm.
IIG current batch students visited the show to have a real-time experience and talk to our corporate partners. The owner of Kisna, Mr. Ghanshyam bhai Dholakia gave a motivating speech to our student delegate which encouraged them and gave them the knowledge of the Gems & Jewellery Industry. They also visited the booth of Laxmi Diamond booth, Shivnarayan, Dassani Brothers. Anjel Jewels invited our student delegation to our booth.
Mr Rahul Desai & the team was pleased to meet the Alumni who had entered this industry after learning at IIG. It was a pleasure to meet them as they are career-oriented professionals now.
We participated at BEC from 4th August to 8th August. The 2nd venue at BEC was the Student Design booth. Students showcased their designs at this booth. One of our students was given an opportunity to participate in the show. She enthusiastically showcased the designs on the mood board. Each day there were different themes on display like think pink. Birds, Anime etc. The exposure of participating for all 5 days was a very enterprising for her.
The visitors approached our booth to enquire about the programs to enrol themselves, their children or they enquired for their friends.
The student delegation was taken to our corporate partners like Shivnarayan, Sanskriti, House of Sparsh, Uma Ornaments, Guru Krupa and TJ Impex.
