West Coast Jewellery Organizations to Host Trading Event and 6th Annual Mega Mixer in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles jewellery community is getting ready for a full day dedicated to business, sourcing, networking, and industry collaboration. On August 24, leading jewellery organizations from across Southern California will come together to host two major events: the Los Angeles Jewellery Trading Event during the day and the 6th Annual Mega Mixer in the evening.

The two events are designed to give jewellery professionals an opportunity to discover new products, connect with potential business partners, meet industry peers, and strengthen relationships across different areas of the jewellery trade.

Los Angeles Jewellery Trading Event Brings Buyers and Sellers Together

The Diamond Club West Coast (DCWC), Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), and Jewellers of America (JA) are joining forces to host the Los Angeles Jewellery Trading Event, with sponsorship support from IGI, Polygon, and IJC.

The full-day trading event will take place on August 24 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Diamond Club West Coast office, located at 550 S. Hill St., Suite 1600, Downtown Los Angeles.

The event is expected to bring together qualified buyers, retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, designers, and other jewellery professionals under one roof. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell, source products, explore new collections, and build valuable business connections.

Exhibitors will showcase a broad range of products and services, including diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls, contemporary jewellery, vintage and estate jewellery, watches, and jewellery-related services.

For buyers and retailers, the event offers an opportunity to discover fresh inventory and potentially negotiate exclusive deals. For suppliers and exhibitors, it provides a direct platform to meet qualified industry professionals and expand their business network.

Building on the Success of Last Year’s Trading Event

The return of the Los Angeles Jewellery Trading Event comes after the strong response to last year’s event, which attracted more than 200 attendees from across the jewellery industry.

That turnout highlighted the demand for a dedicated local marketplace where jewellery professionals could meet in person, discuss business opportunities, explore products, and develop long-term relationships.

The organizers are now bringing the event back with the goal of creating an even stronger platform for face-to-face business and industry networking.

Admission to the trading event is free for qualified buyers and jewellery trade professionals. However, pre-registration is required, and attendance is subject to verification and approval by the organizers.

6th Annual Mega Mixer to Continue the Celebration

The day’s business activities will continue into the evening with the 6th Annual Mega Mixer, formerly known as the Summer Soirée.

The Mega Mixer will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Elevate Lounge in Downtown Los Angeles.

What started as a relatively small gathering involving three or four jewellery organizations has grown into a much larger industry networking event. This year, the Mega Mixer is bringing together 10 jewellery organizations, making it one of the broader collaborative gatherings for the Southern California jewellery community.

The event is sponsored by Krainz Creations and Jewellers Mutual Group.

Unlike the more business-focused trading event during the day, the Mega Mixer will provide a relaxed environment where jewellery professionals can continue conversations, meet new people, reconnect with colleagues, and create relationships across different parts of the industry.

Collaboration at the Heart of the Mega Mixer

One of the most notable aspects of this year’s Mega Mixer is the level of collaboration among jewellery organizations.

Rather than operating independently, participating organizations are coming together to create a shared platform for their members. The initiative reflects the growing recognition that collaboration can create new opportunities for businesses and professionals across the jewellery industry.

From retailers and manufacturers to designers, gem professionals, security specialists, associations, and young industry leaders, the Mega Mixer is expected to bring together people with diverse experiences and interests.

Members of participating organizations can attend the Mega Mixer free of charge when they pre-register.

Pre-registration for both events closes on August 21 in the afternoon, Pacific Standard Time.

A Full Day of Jewellery Business and Networking

Together, the two events create a complete day for the Los Angeles jewellery industry.

The day begins with the Trading Event, giving buyers and sellers a focused environment for sourcing, purchasing, showcasing products, and discussing business opportunities. In the evening, the Mega Mixer shifts the focus toward informal networking and relationship building.

This combination of business and social interaction could make August 24 an important date for jewellery professionals looking to expand their networks and discover new opportunities in the Los Angeles market.

With buyers and sellers expected from across the country and representatives from 10 jewellery organizations participating in the evening event, the gathering is positioned to strengthen connections within the wider jewellery community.

Participating Organizations at the 6th Annual Mega Mixer

The 10 participating organizations include:

  • Diamond Club West Coast (DCWC)
  • Jewellers 24 Karat Club of Southern California
  • Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA)
  • Jewellers of America (JA)
  • Women’s Jewellery Association – Los Angeles (WJA LA)
  • Polygon
  • Black In Jewellery Coalition
  • Armenian Jewellers Association – West Coast Chapter
  • GIA Alumni Collective – Los Angeles Chapter
  • American Gem Society Young Title Holders
  • Jewellery Security Alliance

With organizations representing different areas and communities within the jewellery sector, the event provides an opportunity for professionals to connect beyond their usual networks.

How to Register

Professionals interested in attending the Mega Mixer can register through the Diamond Club West Coast’s Eventbrite page.

Pre-registration is required, and members of participating organizations can attend the evening event free of charge.

With limited time remaining before registration closes, jewellery professionals planning to attend are encouraged to complete their registration in advance.

Looking Ahead

The August 24 events highlight the strength of collaboration within the Los Angeles jewellery industry. By combining a dedicated trading platform with a large-scale networking event, organizers are creating opportunities for professionals to do business, discover new products, exchange ideas, and build lasting industry relationships.

As the jewellery community continues to evolve, initiatives such as the Los Angeles Jewellery Trading Event and Mega Mixer demonstrate the value of bringing different organizations and professionals together. For buyers, sellers, designers, suppliers, and other jewellery professionals, the day promises a valuable mix of business opportunities and community connections.
