It is a combined goal to make diamond education of the highest standard readily available to all students to the Indian audience. Gem-A - GemIntro
Welcome to GemIntro! We are pleased to announce the collaboration with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) for promoting this new, short course GemIntro for Indian Gems & Jewellery enthusiasts, students and beginners. Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) which has been educating people about gems and gemmology longer than any other organisation worldwide. Recognised for its Industry leading Diplomas leading to Fellowship of the Association, this course is designed to give a broad introduction to the wonderful world of gems and gemmology.
Gemintro is designed for anyone seeking to start and progress their career in gemmology. Covering a broad range of topics and issues, with successful completion, you will understand how gemmology is applied in many areas of the gemmological industries which includes retail, manufacture, jewellery design, and mining to name a few. Gemintro is also perfect for gemstone enthusiasts who want to understand more about this exciting, beautiful, and diverse world.
De Beers - Diamond Foundation Course
The collaboration of IIG with De Beers Group Institute of Diamonds. It is our collaborative aim to provide the highest quality diamond education to the Indian audience. All of the courses are designed by experts from across De Beers Group, and IIG is proud to have been selected as a delivery partner for some laboratory-based aspects. These courses give an opportunity to strengthen the foothold of individuals in the diamond industry and accelerate their growth, now and in the future.
Gemewizard - Gem Color Academy
The Gem Color Academy is the online education arm of the Gemewizard College. It was established by Gemewizard® for the purpose of creating the most advanced and comprehensive online gem-related courses, coupled with state-of-the-art technologies and unique course accessories, to provide IIG students with the necessary tools and knowledge to become a successful professional in the gem and jewelry world.
Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association
IIG is now a proud partner of the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd. (IBJA). The collaboration is an endeavour to come a step closer to the collective objective of facilitating holistic development in the Indian G&J arena by creating novel opportunities of learning. As a part of the collaboration, we have launched seven new courses under the IBJA Skill Development Council.

Are IIG courses accredited in INDIA by any Association or University?
IIG INDIA is accredited by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) was established in 1919. International Institute of Gemology (IIG) is also one of the key member in IBJA Skill Development Council, recently Mr Rahul Desai (Director IIG) elected as Vice-President Of Skill Development Council Board.

Does IIG offer skill development initiative programmes in India?
IIG is the location institute of IBJA who is a training partner of Gem and Jewellery Skill Sector Council of India (GJSCI), for has trained people from the industry under STAR scheme programme in 2013-14.
