Skilled through practice, groomed in personality, Welcome this bold talent of Gem & Jewellery Industry.

SRDC, a pioneering Institute dedicated to education and skill development for the gem and jewellery sector, recently completed the Convocation of its 3rd Batch of Graduates for 2017. The moment was celebrated and certificates were handed to students at an event on October 4th, amidst all faculty members as Chief Guests. Certificates were awarded for various courses including Chinese Mandarin Language Course.
The celebrations were engaging; the formal certificate handing ceremony was followed by light-hearted segments of learning through games based on course themes, lucky draws and group photos. Insights were shared by SRDC Counsellor Kejal, while SRDC Director Rahul Desai highlighted a 10-point mantra for success based on Honesty, CSR, Ethics and more.
This mood exactly mirrors the atmosphere at the SRDC Institute where practical training is the backbone of valuable education. That’s also what makes SRDC students believe in themselves as professionals who influence change. At the event, students recounted the advantage of training. A student from London and based in Somalia studying Roughs at SRDC noted that “SRDC is the only Institute in Mumbai offering 100% practical training, unlike other international counterparts. What SRDC has in Mumbai is the Best education for the industry and one should opt for value in education over everything else.”
SRDC has now enhanced its course with a new Jewelry Designing CAD and more industry visits. So, as the new batch of graduates flow into the industry, maybe a new idea is brewing somewhere?
