SRDC Visit to 34th Edition of IIJS

The IIJS 2017 saw a huge revival of buying sentiments, spreading a strong message of positive vibes across the industry.
SRDC which is always driven for spreading awareness and knowledge not only in diamond education; but also about the market trends and updates, planned a visit to IIJS for their students. SRDC Team and 20 Students went to visits some of the exclusive stalls at IIJS. We saw more trendy and light weight jewellery with clean and simple designs reported strong sales. Also found that there is decent demand for bridal Jewellery segment as well.
We also visited some of our Students stalls such as Payal Gold, U. T. Zaveri, Manoj Ornaments, Hardik Gems, Srinathji Gems etc.
SRDC Director Mr Rahul Desai also took students to some of the leaders in loose diamonds exports like Hari Krishna Exports, Venus Jewel, Ankit Gem etc. Also to show the latest trends and master designs in jewellery we went to BR Designs, Rosentiques Jewellery, Sensual etc.
It was a very informative and innovative move at the institute level, to make the students aware of the latest jewellery designs, making, and also make them aware of the trends in the market. Not only about jewellery, but also they can understand the loose diamond market and the price updates as well.
Students showed great interest and acquired up-to-date information from the world’s second-largest and India’s largest Gem & Jewellery exhibition. Today it was a very successful visit to IIJS, at the end all students thanked the SRDC management for planning such a meeting at IIJS.
