Designation: Design Merchandiser
Cadre: Mid-Level
Location: Hyderabad
Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing
design concepts at different price points by assessing market trends for
practical and fashionable designs.
Ø To do a market study, forecasting
trends and conceptualizing innovative designs.
Ø To create new concepts according
to trends, and as per sales representative's briefs, client briefs and for
shows.
Ø To prepare presentations for the
new trend/ collection and for design selection for the perusal of the sales
representatives/ customers/ and for shows.
Ø Establish
and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and manufacturers to
streamline the product selection process.
Ø Actively participate
in product conceptualization, offering valuable insights to enhance product
design and market positioning.
Ø Provide
strategic input into product selection, considering market trends, competitor
offerings, and consumer feedback.
Ø Conduct
thorough analyses of retail performance, identifying areas for improvement and
implementing strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
Ø Stay
abreast of emerging trends in the retail industry, contributing to the
organization's adaptability and responsiveness to market changes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Designing
skills along with proficiency in market research.
Ø Smooth
interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Ø Candidates
should have prior experience of min 1 year.
Ø Well-equipped
with Social Media platforms, Photoshop and MS Office (Word,
Excel,
Powerpoint).
Ø Should be
aware of the latest trends in Jewellery.
