IIG Student’s visit to Finestar Jewellery & Diamonds Pvt. Ltd. – Ichhapore, Surat International Institute of Gemology (IIG) is known for imparting a complete 360 degree practical and on ground market knowledge to their students, through its recent factory visit to FINESTAR Diamonds factory at Ichhapore, Surat proved it right. FINESTAR is one of the largest manufacturers and wholesalers of Polished Diamonds.

Recently they inaugurated their new manufacturing hub in Ichhapore, SURAT and our student delegation from Mumbai and Bangalore with Mr. Rahul Desai, the director of IIG, not only visited the new unit but were privileged to meet the founder members and senior management of Finestar Diamonds, Shri. Vinod Jain, Mr. Gaurav Jain, and Mr. Nanjibhai Vaghasiya. This factory Visit immensely gave an enriching experience to the students with
the real world of diamonds. It was a mesmerizing visit in Gem and Jewellery industry that keep our passionate students motivated. Special screening of corporate AV of Finestar for the IIG was arranged in state of an art auditorium at Finestar, later dignitaries also addressed queries from students and also inspire and motivate them to become future ready with acceptance of change and technology advancements.

ABOUT FINESTAR FACTORY:

The factory is setup in a lush green environment of Gujrat Hira Bourse, Icchapore Surat, Gujrat, and is spread across around 1.25 lakh Sq. Ft. with a future ready setup, spread across. The factory is equipped with the latest and advanced technology in all the areas of operations. It has an Auditorium with seating capacity of about 120, to conduct training sessions and various performances. The factory is build up considering the elements of
SUSTAINABILITY during the construction and featured with 1MW solar power generation plant, Rain Water Harvesting, A/C water conservation, reuse of waste water. The factory campus has a separate IT building to cater to upcoming technologies in the IT field. The campus also has plans for an initiative for PAYBACK TO SOCIETY, envisioned by Shri. Vinodji in the form of Technical education institute to provide free skill development programs in various fields, which will also cater to the future requirement of the Diamond Industry viz, Online Marketing, Advance manufacturing, Grading and AI/Robotics with the intentions to provide learned and employable workforce. The factory provides various facilities to all of its employees viz. Bus Transportation, Medical facility, meals for all.
